Just wanted to let everyone know that I'll be mostly out of touch for a week. Not that it matters as most of you are on HP hiatus, anyway XD Going on vacation and the house we rented doesn't have net access as far as I know. On the upside, this gives me a lot of time to catch up on things I've been slacking on! And to avoid that insane amount of spoilers that are sure to crop up and tempt me to read them. I can usually tear through and HP book in like 2 days, but I'm trying to drag this one out as I DON'T WANT IT TO END!

I have an associated degree from the Art Institute of Seattle and what am I doing with my life? Selling jewelery... you have GOT to be kiddng me! Really!

I have the drive, the passion, the ambition.. I'd like to think I have the talent, but I'd rather not sound concieted (though I most likely am ^_~) and yet, no dice. Maybe I just have terrible luck.

Ya know... seeling jewelery wouldn't be so bad, if it weren't for the quotas. I hate quotas. They should burn. Mmmm burning... *cough*

On a side note:

Tomorrow if those obnoxious LA Fitness people come over to the parking lot and stick ANOTHER of their obnoxious coupons on my car, I think I shall march in there, toss those stupid coupons on the desk and say "You can tell.. Seth.. to keep his filthy coupons off my car!" It's utterly annoying to get into my car, get all comfortable and then see these stupid slips of paper tucked under my windshield wipers. And ya know what else, if I don't pull them off, and they fly off while I'm driving, -I- get the littering fine. Aren't they littering in the first place leaving their trash on my car like that? XD Really, I sound more irritated than I really am. I rant, but I'll probably just deal with it.

Also, my desire for an iPod video is overwhelming so I will be taking 11 Full color commissions at $30 a piece. So I got a call from a woman and Nintendo today. They're looking for seasonal techn support help. And my first thought was "holy crap, nintendo!" it's 10.50 an hour and 12.20 if I work weekends which I undoubtedly would. But of course, it's only tech support, but it would be a way to develope a sort of raport with the company and a point of communication.

However...

I have 20,000 in student loans I have to pay back starting November, my schedule would be inflexible, I'd have to bus form Seattle to Redmond, come January I would likely be out of a job, there'd be no health benefits and soon here I'm not going to have health insurance through my grandparents anymore. Plus, I'm looking into getting a car here really soon.

I was also planning to go full time with Fred Meyer here soon and I could more than likely get a job as a section head and work my way into management. Yeah, it's not my field, but I am working on that book part time and that's industry based work I can put in my portfolio and on my resume.

Sooooo, more than likely I'm going to be calling her back tomorrow and saying "I am really interested, it sounds great, but unfortunately it's just not going to work out for me, but thank you very much for the offer."

I just wanted to share my lament.

Stupid me and being responsible. I know most of famous people had to sacrafice at one point to get where they are, but this is asking way too much.

Anyway, I started trying to diet back around the beginning of the year and I was doing really good until we went on that cruise to Alaska and ever since then I haven't been able to get back into the grove of things again.

So accodring to my doctor, list of things I shouldn't be eating right now:

Potato Chips (Unless they're baked)
Cheese <--- So hard ><
High Calorie drinks

I'm sort of getting back into the grove of the no coke thing. I was an addicted coke drinker for years, but sometimes it's hard when you're at a resteraunt and that's all they have. I should stock up on Cascadia 2 calorie sparkling waters for Anime Evolution this weekend.

What have I eaten today? Sun flower seeds... ><

On a side note, I'm so excited about the con this weekend, now if I could just find the USB cable to get get the pictures of the digital camera.

I got a french manicure yesterday, I hope I don't ruin it. And I got my eyebrows waxed yesterday, they're not as red and puffy as they were, but they sort of itch... ><

And for some reason, I can't draw thin people....

I'm sad, I bid on a piece of Ebony for Zane to turn me a wand out of, and someone outbid me.. I can't afford to go any higher.. oh well, maybe there'll be more after Anime Evolution when I have money again.
